Take part in a design competition

We gathered ten inspiring artists around the world and presented them a challenge. We asked them to create their own vision of the UU and promised to pitch in a competing entry ourselves.

In addition we wanted to present an open challenge to young designers around the world. The best entries, chosen by a jury, will be competing against the ten chosen artists and our representative in the grand final. To make the competition memorable all finalists will be compiled into a book.

The winner of the grand final's public vote will receive a prize of $2000. In addition the Jury will reward it's favourite with a prize of $750.

Design an artwork based on the UU logo

What we hope from you is for you to express your way of life and style through design anyway you see fit. Besides the format (Horizontal A4 300dpi) the only limitation is that you have to somehow include the UU logotype to your creation. You can play with it as much as you like and break/twist/modify the form if you wish. The more original approach you come up with the better, as it is about expressing yourself through art and design.

Voting is now open and it will close on 10.5.2010, 4 PM (GMT +2 hours).
Note! In the end a total of 29 entries made the cut from the open challenge!
