UU Challenge 2010

The UU Challenge is a new annual design challenge that was launched in spring 2010. We gathered ten inspiring artists around the world and asked them to create their own vision of the UU. To make it more interesting we pitched in a competing entry ourselves as well.

In addition we presented an open challenge to young designers around the world. The best entries, chosen by a jury, competed against the ten chosen artists and our representative in the grand final. To make the competition memorable all finalists were compiled into a book. The winner of the grand final's public vote received a prize of $2000. In addition the Jury rewarded their favorite with $750 and the runner-up with $500. See the Winners and Honorary Merits of 2010.

The competition will be back again in spring 2011.
