Design the 9
Next year we are opening a new creative space in Helsinki, focused on design. It seemed only natural to build our next design competition around it. The venue will carry the number nine in its name, so we decided to give you a chance to play with it. It doesn't matter whether you design a chair shaped like a 9 or paint a picture of 9 people talking to each other - the only limitations are the presentation format and the fact that the concept has to somehow incorporate the number nine.
Evaluation criteria: 1) Visuality 2) Originality 3) Story & Concept.
Prize: $2000 for the Jury's favorite.
Shortlist: Chris Schürmann, João Oliveira, Jussi Virtanen, Maxime Quoilin, Nathan Walker, Tamir Bayarsaikhan, Ryan Roche, Nicolas Monin-Baroille, Tomas Brechler & Xabiso Ndaba.
Winner will be announced December 24th 2010.
